Privacy
installs.me exists to turn your own material into a persona you choose to publish. The line we draw is simple, and it is the whole product.
What stays private
The source material you connect, uploaded files, Google Drive documents, calendar events, is stored so we can read it once to build your persona. It is never published, never included in the installable plugin, and never shared. Google access is read-only and can be revoked at any time from your Google account or by disconnecting the source here.
What becomes public
The persona you generate, and only the persona, is the synthesized skill files: a SKILL.md and a few reference documents written in your voice. When you publish, those files are served from your installs.me page and mirrored to a public plugin registry so that anyone can install them. That is the point of publishing. Nothing from your raw corpus is copied into them beyond what you would want a reader to see.
Analytics
We count plugin installs to show you install stats. IP addresses are stored only as a daily-salted hash, never in the clear.
